Hypes, Trends, Future Music: Which technology fascinates you right now?

  • Beyond Java – Talks about languages and ecosystems beyond Java – e.g., Kotlin, Rust, TypeScript, Python, Go, etc., including related tools, libraries, frameworks, or preferred patterns or architectural styles.
  • Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning – Talks on the theory and application of AI and ML techniques such as neural networks in all variations, AI frameworks like TensorFlow, Torch/PyTorch, Keras, etc.
  • Java Technology, Enterprise, and Mobile Applications with Java – Talks on current developments and trends around the Java programming language, as well as enterprise applications of Java with all technologies from Spring to Java EE, including all variants of mobile applications.

Development, Architecture, Leadership: What makes good software development for you?

  • Software Development Process – Talks along the software development process: requirements management, agile approaches, version control, CI/CD, maintenance, and operations.
  • Architecture – Talks around software architecture and design.

Student, Junior, Senior: What know‑how do you want to share with us?

  • You plan a special talk outside of Java or beyond software development, whether about another programming language, approaches such as design thinking, competencies like team development and corporate management, or a talk with greater audience involvement or other performances? We are open to your suggestions!
  • Instead of a frontal talk, you can also submit a case study, a live‑coding session, or a short workshop.
  • Newbies, listen up! Have you never given a talk at a conference? Then the JUG Saxony Day is your chance. We plan a special space for everyone who stands on a conference stage for the first time. There you will have the opportunity to try out a talk on a topic of your choice before a welcoming audience and receive feedback. Dare to – we are also available for all your questions and are confident that you will remember this conference day for a long time!

For the conference program we plan a total of 5 tracks with 4 talks each and 2 short talks.
